Hi Michael,

First and foremost thanks for all of the effort you’ve put into creating this website. Let me know if I can contribute on my own time – if you need some assistance in some way, or have some tasks that always seem to be prioritized lowly. Maybe I can help. It would be a good way for me to give back, since the Cetaphil “Restoraderm Skin Restoring Moisturizer” as per your previous posts has helped greatly in eliminating the flakiness on my face. What remains for me now is the redness. Which really just means I haven’t eliminated the root cause.

I’m an electrical engineer and have had an on/off relationship with competitive online gaming ever since middle school – aka a lot of time in front of a computer. As far as RSI goes, I use a left handed mouse at work nowadays, but I firmly believe the cold hands predisposition is genetic (my mom has it, her dad had it, etc.). I like to believe that perhaps with a perfect dietary intake it may be somewhat lessened. I’ve read stories online of people only being affected below 25F… for me, it’s about 60F :(. I agree with you however, achieving a non standard american diet is difficult on a number of different levels, and has so far proven unpractical.

Ultimately I blame this (lack of ability to change diet) on myself, since if I really cared about my skin, I would go 100% on the diet. Nevertheless I’m stuck in this zone where I care sometimes, and sometimes not… but then still complain! Ugh. Perhaps it’s the social media that lets me compare myself to how “easy” normal people have it. Rebuilding the diet is a slow process that I believe I will eventually achieve. Nothing happens overnight. I’ve already learned a lot about nutrition and at least during the weekdays when my life is structured, I am relatively successful.

I will have to look into the bone broth and the rhodiola rosea. I’ll let you know what I find.

Thanks again,
